Does size matter?

Behind Walls.

WallsHow many of us over the years, build walls around us? To protect us from others. From pain, hurt or even to prevent the same to happen. A wall we build over the years.  Stone by stone. From behind these walls, we are in control. We decide who enters, and who leaves.

Can you remember the first day you laid the foundation for this wall? Can you remember the reason why you decided to build this wall? How lonely this walled city became over the years.

A few seconds…

Please Sir,
Do you have a moment? I know you are very busy, working hard to earn money. A family to provide for. A few seconds for you to look down at me and acknowledge my existence. To smile at me, to make me feel human and wanted. I know I look dirty and probable smell bad, but beneath all this I am only a human. Thrown away like a broken toy.
Please Sir,
Only a few seconds of your time is all I ask. Your friendly smile will give me hope and confirm that I am not forgotten. You pass me everyday. A few seconds is all it takes to say hello. A smile from your heart is all I ask. Tonight you go to your family. Tonight I will still be here. High on glue. Drifting away to a place far away where it is warm and no hunger exist. Only to wake up and realise that I am still here, waiting for you to give me a few seconds of your time.
Please Sir!
A few seconds! Is that to much to give?

There will always be an End.

desert_1 Eons ago, before the dawn of man, when the universe was an empty and lonely place, a set of twins was spawned out of Hatred and Rebellion. Their names Desolation and Desperation. When they came of age, they were crowned and given a kingdom to rule together. Rule from their thrones above, out of reach of mankind’s intellectual grasp, science or any rational explanation. Floating on a cloud of sulphur, their eyes look upon their subjects with anticipation. Only one rule they have to obey. No Hope! Their sceptre, an hour glass.

Home

To Home we always turn,

For it we always yearn.

No matter how we fare,

Warm welcome waits us there.
